Events at New Skete Monastery

Join us for a day of prayer, worship, learning, and fellowship as we gather for New Skete's annual Pilgrimage. Throughout the day, participants are invited to experience the rhythm of monastic life through the Divine Liturgy, a church tour, opportunities for quiet reflection in the Labyrinth, and a presentation that explores the relationship between faith and daily life. We are honored to welcome Dr. Ioana Popa, whose afternoon presentation, Science and Faith: Partners in the Journey, will invite us to reflect on the integration of body, mind, heart, and soul in our journey with Christ. Guest Speaker:

Dr. Ioana Popa is a physician-psychiatrist educator, executive coach, Christian spiritual-care provider, speaker, trainer, a mother, wife, and grand-mother. She is the co-founder and CEO of Team For The Soul® Institute, where she helps Christian professionals and servant leaders prevent burnout, move from grief to hope, and grow toward their highest potential in Christ. Dr. Ioana also holds a Master of Theological Studies from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. Through her Thriving In Christ podcast, conferences, workshops, and retreats, she equips servant leaders to support others with renewed strength, clarity, and purpose.
